The immersive Apple Vision Pro is not complete without dedicated experiences, and Cupertino has released the first immersive movie on the Apple TV app for users to access for free.

The film was said to be shot in an Immersive Video format that will allow users to see more of its entirety, which is not confirmed to the four corners of a traditional movie format, and expand more of the experience.

9to5Mac reported the arrival of the first immersive sports film on Apple TV, and this is specifically tailored for Vision Pro users to watch and experience a different kind of sports streaming using the device. This is with the 2023 Major League Soccer playoffs highlight reel, which is about five minutes long, taking users to the pitch of the league's recently concluded season.

It offers a 180-degree three-dimensional video, allowing the audience to get right into the action of the iconic moments from the 2023 MLS season.

Moreover, it is free to enjoy on Apple TV, unlike the 2023 MLS Season Pass, which requires an extra payment for access.

Immersive Videos for the Vision Pro

This immersive 2023 MLS movie will give users a chance to peek at the top, bottom, and sides of the pitch, catching more of what is happening throughout the games amidst the highlighted matches. It also comes with Spatial Audio for compatible devices to complete the experience.

Other immersive videos from Apple for Vision Pro users to experience are short, including Adventure, Wildlife, and more. That being said, a full-length and scale Immersive Video has yet to arrive from Apple.

Apple Vision Pro

Apple has marketed its Vision Pro as one of the top immersive experiences available on the wearable market, as it can offer the best of both worlds, including augmented and virtual reality on the headset. Apart from games, users may also take streaming to the next level with the Vision Pro, with the likes of Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and more developing apps for the visionOS, as opposed to Netflix

To date, Apple has more than 600 apps and games available for Vision Pro owners to enjoy, including tailored and ported apps from the iPhones and iPads available on the App Store.

Many have commended Vision Pro's widely immersive experiences and spatial computing for delivering egregious high-quality experiences, but several issues were also found

In terms of streaming, watching movies, series, or videos via the Vision Pro is already immersive as it blocks the outside environment and gives people a chance to enjoy it in the virtual world, but it still lacks dedicated content for it.

Apple TV's upcoming 2023 Major League Soccer playoffs upload marks the first immersive video that will complement the Vision Pro, taking users right to the action alongside Spatial Audio for a more compelling experience of the season.
