Listen up, Battlestar Galactica fans and friends of fans because Amazon has another great deal for everyone. Amazon is offering the complete series of "Battlestar Galactica" on Blu-ray for only $81.99. The complete series from seasons one to four and everything in between plus bonus features including deleted scenes, on Blu-ray.

Why would Amazon do that? It's probably because "Battlestar Galactica" is an awesome show loved by many fans and, if you haven't seen it yet, you should. The deal saves buyers 73% off the list price of $299.98 or $217.99 which, of course,  buyers can use for other things or buying a second set for their collection and a third set to give as a gift for Christmas.

Don't forget that the entire set is on Blu-ray so you can experience all the amazing visual and sound effects in all its glory as you watch or marathon the series. Of course, having a "Battlestar Galactica" marathon is not at all necessary but if you have the entire series on Blu-ray in front of you already, why not? The long holidays are coming after all and there's no better time to celebrate and thank the creators for the sheer awesomeness of the show.

"Battlestar Galactica" is a remake of the 1978 series of the same title about the crew of the ship "Battlestar Galactica" that harbor civilians and are on the run from Cyclons, intelligent robots designed by humans, who destroyed all 12 colonies. Their mission is to survive the attacks of Cyclons that pursue them as they journey on their quest to find the lost 13th colony: Earth.

In 2014, reports surfaced about a reimagined "Battlestar Galactica" film being planned by Universal Pictures with Jack Paglen tapped to write the screenplay and Glen Larson, the series creator, will produce the film and, while there have been no recent reports about the status of the project, having a marathon is an enjoyable way to refresh your memory.

In case you missed it: "Battlestar Galactica" the complete series on Blu-ray for only $81.99!
