Upon announcing its disappointing earnings, GoPro has shown off on YouTube a sneak peak of a video footage captured by its newest, still unreleased, drone. This suggests it is already working on producing its new product ,which is slated to be released in early 2016.

Interestingly, GoPro pushed out the video on YouTube just one hour after it reported that its stocks crashed 18 percent. The new drone is anticipated to help pull the company back into the right track.

It seems that GoPro's new product will not dismay its already eager fanatics, as the uploaded video showcases high-quality, stable footage with pleasing colors and sharp pictures. The maximum resolution available on the footage is 1,440p.

The company says the video it uploaded used a developmental prototype of GoPro's quadcopter and stabilization system.

"No post-production stabilization was implemented; this is an example of the incredible image quality we are already able to capture at this advanced prototype stage," reads the description of the video.

"Considering the cost of just a camera, the copter has to cost at least $500," speculates YouTube user Giraffe George. "I'm looking forward to other people enjoying this product."

Early this year, the company's boss Nick Woodman already revealed its plans in coming up with its very own drone. He said fans will get their hands on it by 2016.

Rumors have spread over the Internet, suggesting it has teamed up with DJI in building the drone. Walmart likewise collaborated with DJI in its drone program.

Previously, Woodman admitted GoPro had high hopes that buyers of its cameras will likewise purchase its new product.

"[B]usiness in the third quarter was clearly more difficult than anticipated," said Woodman in a statement.

Among the latest products GoPro shipped include the Hero+ as well as the Hero4 Session.

GoPro disclosed China is the fastest growing market in the company's history.

While GoPro's international sales nearly tripled, its sales, however, in the Americas dropped down 7 percent.

Watch the video below and be stunned with the video quality GoPro's new product has to offer.
