While we might not be getting any additional trailers for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, don't think for a second that Disney is going to let up on increasing the already sky-high levels of hype for the film.

Case in point: Disney has just unleashed three new character posters for the film. If we're being technical, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega released the posters for their respective characters via their Twitter accounts, but we all know it's according to Disney's marketing plans. Since Harrison Ford doesn't do social media, the official Star Wars social media accounts revealed the Han Solo poster.

You can check out the three images below. Each is a character close-up. Han is seen sporting his familiar blaster pistol, while Finn can be seen holding a blue lightsaber, as we've seen in the movie's trailer. Rey is seen in her desert garb, holding a staff that we've seen multiple times both in the trailer and in the film's theatrical poster. Kylo Ren is here as well, looking like his usual darkside self.

The only poster that adds any new information is the poster for Leia. We still aren't entirely sure what her role in The Force Awakens will be. She is barely in the various trailers for the films, and even those glimpses didn't provide much context.

The poster has her standing among what look to be holograms of some sort, not so different from the ones we see the Rebels using on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back to make their battle plans. If that is indeed what Leia is doing here, that means she is still very much involved in leading the New Republic/Resistance against the threat of the The First Order.

Once again, Luke isn't given the spotlight, which J.J. Abrams has stated is 100 percent intentional. What exactly Luke is up to has proven to be the biggest mystery of the movie so far, one that will likely remain secret until Star Wars fans make their way to the theater in December.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in theaters on Dec. 18.
