Amazon is the latest retailer to make known its plans for Black Friday. Unlike other retailers, however, whose Black Friday ads were leaked over the Internet, Amazon has officially announced some of the hottest deals to look forward to come the week of Black Friday.

So far, the best deal buyers can get is for the new seven-inch Kindle Fire tablet that will be available for $34.99 for the entry-level 8 GB model beginning Nov. 26, Black Friday itself. This will also come with what Amazon says $10 worth of apps and games, although the e-commerce firm doesn't specify what those are.

The new Kindle Fire isn't exactly the most powerful of tablets. If you're looking for something more like an iPad or a Galaxy Tab, this is the wrong place to look. However, the seven-inch Kindle Fire is easily Amazon's bestselling tablet to date, with an already low original price of $49.99 with Special Offers. Amazon's line of Kindle Fire tablets is sold not for profit but to give customers more chances to buy Amazon's products and services through the Amazon store deeply integrated into those tablets.

Amazon will also take $15 off the Fire TV Stick, its HDMI streaming dongle that takes on the likes of Chromecast but not so much full-blown set-top boxes such as the Apple TV or Roku 4. The Fire TV Stick has an original price of $39.99 but will be available for $24.99 also on Nov. 26. Like the Kindle Fire, the Fire TV Stick isn't the most powerful streaming device out there, but for $25, it's a good way for aspiring cord cutters to check out what it's like to go without traditional pay TV services.

The regular Kindle e-reader will also get a price cut. Originally selling at $79.99 for the version without Special Offers, the Kindle will be available with a $30 discount for only $49.99 beginning Nov. 22, the Sunday before Black Friday. This is different from the high-end Kindle Voyage or the recently refreshed Kindle Paperwhite, but the regular Kindle will still feature the same six-inch e-ink screen available on the more expensive models.

To date, Amazon has mentioned only these three products that will be selling for steep discounts for its Black Friday sale. However, the retailer has already launched its own pre-Black Friday sale for customers looking to dodge the crowded spaces on the day itself. Items currently up for sale include the Amazon Echo, which now sells with $30 off for $149.99, and the Kindle Paperwhite, now available for $99.99. Amazon is also taking $200 off a Nikon D3300 digital SLR and $55 off the Logitech Harmony smart remote control.
