Game of Thrones season six isn't coming until spring of 2016, but already, rumors about the new season are buzzing around the Web. This is in part because the show will have officially passed the plot of the books, meaning even those who read George R.R. Martin's fantasy series don't know what is coming next.

Potential spoilers for season six below! You have been warned!

Turn back now if you don't want to know. Seriously.

While Jon Snow has long been rumored to return to life, a new interview with a season six cast member seems to imply that yet another character will be brought back from the dead. Actor Ian McShane offered this tease to fans in an interview with Pop Goes the News while promoting his new film, The Hollow Point:

"I'll give you one hint," McShane says. "I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again. I'll leave it at that."

It's still unknown what character McShane is playing, though the actor also revealed that his role is a "one-off episode." It seems he will be a minor character then, but two questions still remain: who is McShane playing, and who will he be bringing back to life?

Some fans (like those over at Watchers on the Wall) speculate he may be playing the character of Septon Meribald or the Elder Brother (or a combination of both) from A Feast for Crows. In the books, the Elder Brother claims to have buried the Hound and put his iconic dog helmet atop the grave.

Could McShane be referring to the Hound coming back to life? Or perhaps he is being less literal in his quote and will instead be playing a character (possibly the bandit character Rorge), who comes into possession of the Hound's helmet and wears it into battle?

Another theory is that season six could finally introduce Lady Stoneheart, a.k.a. the resurrected Catelyn Stark who comes to lead the Brotherhood Without Banners after being resurrected by Beric Dondarrion. Lady Stoneheart has already been introduced in the books, leading many to anticipate her arrival on the show.

Both Rory McCann and Michelle Fairley have been rumored to be in Belfast, where season six has been filming, so it seems either character (or maybe both?) could return. We may have to wait until spring 2016 to find out the truth.
