It's time that of year for World Wrestling Entertainment again.

Each holiday season marks the continuing of two WWE traditions via its Slammy Awards and Tribute To The Troops. This year, they'll be held on Dec. 21 and Dec. 23, respectively, as part of WWE Week.

On Thursday, WWE announced the two events as the cornerstones of an action-packed week in late December.

The annual fan-voted Slammy Awards will be part of the Dec. 21 episode of Monday Night Raw, live from Minneapolis, Minn., honoring WWE Superstars and Divas across an array of categories with its signature golden statue.

Two days later, on Dec. 23, and also on USA, from 8 to 10 p.m., WWE will hold its 13th annual Tribute To The Troops show. This year's installment will chronicle WWE's taped visit to Florida's Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, as Superstars and Divas put on a show for military personnel and their families stationed at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station, Naval Station Mayport and Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.

It's WWE's way of giving back to the servicemen and women that protect the United States with their commitment and dedication. WWE even tapped the Grammy Award-winning rock band Train to perform for the troops as part of the taped event.

The Slammy Awards and Tribute To The Troops shows will be complemented by other highlights from WWE Week, including the airing of the WWE original comedy Santa's Little Helper, starring The Miz and WWE Diva Paige, on Dec. 20, Raw, of course, on Dec. 21, SmackDown on Dec. 22 and even a WWE daytime takeover on USA in different spots throughout the week, loaded with segments involving WWE Superstars and Divas being interviewed by Cat Greenleaf from her iconic stoop.
