Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege had some problems during its beta testing release, but the matchmaking issues that delayed the launch by one day were fixed.  

The open beta went live on Nov. 26 and will be ongoing until Nov. 29, in preparation for the official launch of the game on Dec. 1. The popular and Counterstrike-borrowed PvE Disarm Bomb mode, which works in Terrorist Hunt, will be playable.

The developers said that the beta version of the game that gets tested from Nov. 26 to Nov. 29 will be the last one of the four testing stages. It will bring new characters to the table, namely 14 operators, as well as three new maps dubbed Kanal Industrial Harbor, Hereford, and House. The developers promised that the new maps will put the gamers' tactical thinking to the test.

Previous testing phases of the last Tom Clancy title took place in March, July and September 2015. Ubisoft pointed out that the feedback that followed the first three beta periods helped immensely in polishing the final installment of the game.

The gaming company will use the open beta experience from the Nov. 26 - Nov. 29 interval to prepare for the official launch that kicks off in early December. Scaling the experience from the open beta will show the company how many resources are required for a seamless experience during the official release. Overloaded servers are a common problem for game launches that require online presence, and Ubisoft aims to keep those issues away for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's release.

"We can't wait to have you all playing during the Open Beta for one last stability check. You'll get to test out some of the recent improvements we made, including a much stronger gameplay experience," Ubisoft said. The company underlined that it is grateful for the fans' support. Voices from the company expect the FPS to match Far Cry 4 in replayability.

With the release of the open beta on Nov. 26, the path is set for the official release of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege on and Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Dec. 1.
