Twitter's six second video recording app, Vine, has introduced a new feature, giving users the ability to finally edit and save posts before sharing. The new tool is called "Sessions," and it allows the user to save up to 10 post at once and come back later to work on them.

To do this, users are asked to click on the new icon at the bottom right side of the camera to save a new Session, or to open one already created. It's a cool feature, one that should increase creativeness in Vine videos as users take advantage of it.

Furthermore, there's another new feature called "Time Travel." This feature allows users to replace, remove, or reorganize shots within any post. Basically, if you don't want to use a certain part of a video, you can simply edit it before posting. To do this, hit the green bar from the camera while shooting and then tap edit.

"Vine was built for one purpose: to make it easy for people to capture life in motion and share it with the world," the company said in an official blog post. "That is the reason we built the Vine camera, and it's why we continue to improve upon and build new tools for your creations, nurturing the balance between power and simplicity that you've come to expect from us.

The ability to edit the order of video clips in Vine is a feature long sought after. Furthermore, it's a feature already available in Instagram Video, so it goes to show how far behind Vine was in this respect.

Until now, Vine users could only work on a single Vine at a time, along with working on videos chronologically. These new features should make the Vine app more powerful and more user friendly. Now, the next feature Twitter should look into for the next big Vine update, is increasing the limit from 6 seconds to 15 seconds, similar to Instagram Video.

The new Vine update is available only for Android and iOS devices. You can pick it up and the Google Play Store and in the App Store.
