Pandora is making its music-streaming platform even more personal for its users. The platform announced on Thursday the launch of a new brand feature to help users discover new music based on their streaming history.

The new feature called "Browse" serves as a personalization destination to uncover new artists based on each specific user's personal music preferences that are made known through Pandora's thumbs-up feature. For example, if the user likes The Weeknd, they may have the ability to be exposed to the music from a similar artist such as the singer Banks.

"Finding new music should be a simple and enjoyable experience," Chris Phillips, chief product officer of Pandora, said in a statement. "Our musicologists have scored millions of songs to find the perfect music just for you. The new Browse feature makes it easy to find the music you love whether you know what you want, or need a little help discovering music you didn't know existed."

Along with serving as a personalized music discovery tool, Browse will also provide station recommendations based on the artists the user already knows and loves, with the experience improving over time the more they listen to the streaming service.

Browse will also let users see what's playing on a station before adding it to their station list just in case they feel it doesn't feel suit their musical tastes at the moment.

Pandora is also giving its users the ability to see how many other users are listening to their favorite artist by allowing them to see how many fans added that particular station.

Along with rolling out the new Browse discovery feature, Pandora also announced slight improvements to the platform to create an even better experience for its users. The platform now features a new Mini-Player on the bottom of the app to provide users with one-tap access to what's playing. There is a new Fly-Out menu located in the top left corner that will feature Stations, Feed, Profile and Settings to make accessing these menus easier. Stations can now be organized by those recently added or by alphabetical order. Pandora also redesigned the artist pages to provide more information.

The new Browse feature is only available for Pandora listeners with iOS in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. However, the company said that the Android launch will come soon.
