Ubisoft's The Division beta test got many gamers worried that it doesn't have enough playable area or PvE content, but it turns out the beta covers 22 percent of the full game's map.

This clarification should clear gamers' concern and assure them that the playable area will in fact be far bigger when The Division makes its full debut.

Back in late January, Ubisoft released an interactive map for The Division. Tech Times previously reported on the valuable information that the map has to offer, and we now have more proof that it holds crucial clues.

Amid growing concerns regarding the size of the map in The Division beta, two Redditors decided to do some digging and shed some light on the matter. Starting from the interactive map Ubisoft published, the proactive Redditors made some calculations that are sure to ease some woes.

First off, Reddit user "MiCK_GaSM" checked how big the map really is by overlaying the beta map (purple) with the full game map (blue) from Ubisoft. You can check out those images on image-hosting site Imgur.

Putting the map on a grid with 8,165 squares really put things into perspective. The launch area map covers 5,315 squares, while the beta map only takes up 1,167 squares. Consequently, The Division beta features just 22 percent of the entire playable area that will be available at launch.

Taking things even further, Redditor "blidside" relied on the same world map, but used a different method to calculate just how big the Dark Zone is compared to the full game's map. You can find those images on Imgur as well. The Dark Zone apparently makes up 18 percent of the entire map.

The Dark Zone multiplayer will be the place to go for that exciting PvP action gamers yearn for, with better rewards and awesome loot. Knowing that the quarantined area called the Dark Zone is 18 percent of the full map should help fans get a better idea of what to expect.

As a reminder, The Division will make its official debut on March 8, when it will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
