Super Bowl 50 wasn't just for football fans looking to see who would dominate the field. Movie buffs also got treated to the best upcoming films during the commercial breaks. Sure they were only 30 seconds long, but they were enough to get us counting out pennies to save up to watch all the upcoming movies this year.

“Jason Bourne”

Matt Damon is back as the perfect weapon! And the Bourne franchise is hoping that all memory of the “The Bourne Legacy” has been wiped. “Jason Bourne” is scheduled for release on Jul. 29.

"Captain America: Civil War"

Heroes will fight against heroes when “Captain America: Civil War.” Watch which heroes stand united and who chose the wrong side when the new Marvel movie comes out in theatres on May 6.

"The Jungle Book"

Mowgli and his animal friends come to life in Disney's live action adaptation of “The Jungle Book.” See Mowgli learn the bare necessities on Apr. 15.

“Eddie the Eagle”

The smallest film of the bunch gets a big Super Bowl spot with some NFL stars sharing their two cents about the historic 1988 Winter Olympic bid of British ski-jumper Michael ‘Eddie’ Edwards. The movie is out this month on Feb. 26.

"Deadpool"

The foul-mouthed anti-super hero will finally grace the silver screen! Check out Deadpool doing what he does best this Friday, America, on Feb. 12.

“The Secret Life of Pets”

The Super Bowl is a family affair and so are the movies ads. The creators of Pixar show what pets really do when the family leaves them home to their own devices. In theaters on Jul.7.

“Independence Day 2: Resurgence”

Mankind proves that even when the alien enemy returns bigger and badder, they “will not go gently into that good night” and will once again declare their Independence Day on Jun. 24.

“Alice Through The Looking Glass”

Alice must return to Wonderland to rescue the Mad Hatter in the sequel to Disney's “Alice in Wonderland.” Director James Bobin takes over from Tim Burton in this film that opens on May 26.

“10 Cloverfield Lane”

J.J. Abrams offers up another tease to “10 Cloverfield Lane” which, although still doesn't show us the beast, pretty much confirms that the film out on Mar. 9 is a sequel the 2008 monster flick.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2”

The turtles and Megan Fox's midriff are free to walk the streets of New York to save the city from more over-the-top CGI terrors. Even Bebop and Rocksteady are along for the ride on Jun. 3.

“X-Men: Apocalypse”

The mutants prepare for war as the ancient Apocalypse and his four horsemen threaten to destroy humanity as we know it. Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy are back with a slew of other new and old X-Men on May 27.
