Samsung will introduce two new smartphones at a press event on Feb. 21. An image of the Galaxy S7 has already leaked and now the first image of the Galaxy S7 Edge has been uncovered, complete with a benchmarking app on its display.

When it comes to smartphone leaks, Samsung can't be too pleased to see its next-gen handsets, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge making headlines on an almost daily basis leading up to their launch on Feb. 21.

We just reported that an image of the Samsung Galaxy S7 made its way online and provided a close up look at the smartphone's rear case and new 12-megapixel rear BRITECELL camera. The device has a similar design to that of its predecessor, Galaxy S6, but its camera no longer protrudes and sits practically flush.

Now, Samsung's other flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 Edge has posed for the camera while it was running a benchmark app. The handset has more in common with the larger Galaxy S6 Edge+ than the standard S6 Edge, which was released alongside the Galaxy S6 last year.

Instead of using the same 5.1-inch display used on last year's Galaxy S6 Edge and the upcoming Galaxy S7, Samsung has instead chosen to pack in a 5.5-inch dual curved edge display. The move is likely due in part to compete with Apple's current iPhone 6s Plus and upcoming iPhone 7 Plus, which will also feature a 6.6-inch screen.

The AnTuTu benchmark confirms the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's model number of SM-G9350 and score of 134704. The image also shows an email notification located on the left side of the edge screen and the device is wrapped in an all-black casing.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to feature a 5.5-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD Super AMOLED dual curved edge display, will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or Samsung Exynos 8890 chip depending on region. The handset will include a healthy 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage, and microSD expansion slot.

The Galaxy S7 Edge will reportedly pack in a 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. The device is rumored to ship with a large 3,500 mAh battery and a waterproof and dust-resistant case.

While there's no way to confirm if this is actually the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, thankfully the days of speculation are coming to an end with Feb. 21 fast approaching.
