Apple's authorized resellers are dishing out a killer offer for the Apple Watch ahead of the highly purported March 15 Apple event.

Fans are now treated to a very low price for the company's smart timepiece. Apart from a $100 discount, retailers are now throwing in free shipping and no tax outside New York.

B&H Photo, for example, has trimmed down the price for all of the Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch models by $100.

The 38 mm Apple Watch Sport models are now priced at $249 while the 42 mm variants cost $299. The 38 mm and 42 mm versions of the Apple Watch, in the meantime, carry a price tag of $449 to $599.

Apple Watch 2: Is It Right Around The Corner?

A few weeks ago, speculation was rife that trial production of the next iteration of Apple Watch has already kicked off at supplier Quanta.

Price cuts such as this could imply that a newer model is about to be rolled out. While quite a few expect that the release of the next-generation Apple Watch is already imminent, a report from TechCrunch claims that Apple might only ship a minor revision of the timepiece. One expected update is an amped up FaceTime snapper. TechCrunch says that the Apple Watch 2 fans have been clamoring for with big enhancements, casing changes and new hardware features may not yet show up in the near future.

Creative Strategies analyst Ben Bajarin tells TechCrunch that supply chain checks show no sign that would suggest that a new Watch model is already in production.

"As with the current edition of the Apple Watch, no one really saw that coming via supply chain so it is possible to not see it," Bajarin says.

Other sources, though, claim that Apple is already busy preparing its special event on March, suggesting that the company may still unveil its new products soon. And, yes, the special date has recently been solidified. More reports have emerged claiming that the Cupertino-based company is eyeing a March 15 event to launch its iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 plus Apple Watch updates.

While it is a good idea to wait for the refreshed Apple Watch to hit the store shelves this coming March, a $100 price cut from the original price is nevertheless a great buy.

Those interested to buy the discounted Apple Watch may head on over to Best Buy or B&H Photo.

MacBook Sale

The Apple Watch isn't the only thing on sale right now. Customers can now grab Apple's 12-inch MacBooks, either Silver, Space Gray or Gold versions, at incredibly low prices. For a limited time only, the reseller slashed $300 to $350 off from the prices of these MacBooks. Apart from free shipping, customers also need not pay tax if they reside outside New York.
