What would a prestigious international auto show be without a Lamborghini?

The Italian sports car manufacturer is more than making its presence felt at the 86th Annual Geneva International Motor Show by rolling out with its new Centenario hypercar.

With April 28 being the company founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini's, 100th birthday, the Centenario isn't just another Lamborghini. It just might be the most powerful Lamborghini to ever burn rubber, period.

Aside from the Bugatti Chiron, which touts nearly 1,500 horsepower, there probably isn't a hypercar that successfully blends an aerodynamics-defying style and power at the Geneva International Motor Show like the Centenario.

Boasting Lamborghini's traditional V-12 engine, the Centenario cranks out 770 horsepower, mashing the dash from zero to 62 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds flat with a top speed of 218 mph-plus.

According to reports, the Centenario marks a first for Lamborghini in another way, as the company is introducing rear-wheel steering (RWS) technology with this supercar. The technology enables the rear wheels to turn at low speeds, delivering a bolstered stability to the ride.

Get this, too ... the Centenario is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Internet connectivity, supporting Apple CarPlay in the process.

The mind-bending specs of the Centenario will cost buyers $1.9 million, as the price tag attached to this living, breathing beast on wheels.

One report says that production on the car will be limited to 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, with all 40 vehicles already being sold out.

"The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation — it looks to the future while honoring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini," the sportscar manufacturer's CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in a statement, as reported by Fox News. "It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: a man who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible, and produced extraordinary, iconic cars."

Supercars like the Centenario and Chiron are so excessive, they're obscene. They're likely to be sticking points in the conversation for the most impressive supercar in the elite space for quite some time to come.
