Lenovo is yet to announce the Yoga Book convertible but a render and some details of the notebook have emerged online.

Rumors of the Lenovo Yoga Book have been doing the rounds in the technology industry and the Red Dot 21 award website has released some information on the upcoming Lenovo device.

"Yoga Book is a creative device that belongs to [the] Yoga family. It can be used as a tablet and notebook, which will be adaptable to different scenarios. It results in a very slim, flexible and portable device that will fit the needs of demanding users. The smart floating keyboard appears when needed, and disappears when the user wants to write, sketch with the intellipen, mixing traditional ink with digital technology," says Red Dot 21.

According to Red Dot 21, the notebook will have an innovative three-axis hinge, which will allow users to flip it around 360 degrees. The Yoga Book convertible notebook will be just 9.6 millimeters (0.38 inches) thick.

The Yoga Book will not be the only Lenovo device that can be folded to 360 degrees. The Lenovo Yoga 900 and the Yoga 3 Pro can also be folded up to 360 degrees, transforming from a laptop to a tent-like design, which can be used for watching videos conveniently.

"Yoga 3 Pro is one of our most adaptable PCs. It features four different ways to do what you want: Laptop, Stand, Tent or Tablet. The secret: Yoga 3 Pro's unique design and touchscreen display allows the screen to flip around 360 degrees," says Lenovo.

The battery capacity of the Lenovo Yoga Book is not known but if rumors are to be believed then it will offer more than 15 hours of productivity in one single charge.

Rumors suggest that an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 Cherry Trail processor and 4 GB of RAM will power the Yoga Book. The Lenovo notebook is expected to have 32 GB of on-board storage.

The Yoga Book convertible notebook may sport a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The device will support GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The notebook may come running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system straight out of the box.

The leaked render does not suggest anything about the Lenovo Yoga Book. The launch date of the Lenovo Yoga Book convertible notebook remains unknown for now. Market observers suggest that there are no key PC conferences coming in April or May. However, Computex 2016 starts May 31, where the company may take the wraps off the latest notebook.
