Sony kicked off the launch of the PlayStation 4 with a bang as fans lined up on Nivember 15 to get a hold of their new console. However, not everything went as smooth as Sony would have liked after numerous reports of faulty launch systems and a bad firmware update. Nonetheless, many fans are likely to ignore the hiccups as espcially after Naughty Dog teased its next video game title for the PlayStation 4, Uncharted.

The Uncharted franchise is one of the top selling games on the PlayStation 3, so it make sense for Sony to request another from Naughty Dog, arguably one of the best video game developers in the industry right now.

The short teaser video showed a map and also highlighted the voice of an unknown character who, it appears, might become the lead protagonist in the game. This male character promises he would take revenge for being for "buried alive," "erased" and "rotting in a hell hole" for 15 years.

If this character is not new, it is possible he could be an older Nathan Drake who got himself in a lot of trouble prior to being lost for 15 years. This wouldn't be too farfetched since Drake is known for getting himself in some serious trouble on regular occasions.

"Amy, Justin, and the team are hard at work on an amazing new installment of the Uncharted series to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 system. Our goal is to continue what we've done in previous console generations and once again deliver the best in storytelling, performance capture, technical innovation and graphics on the PS4." Naughty Dog said in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The report of a new Uncharted title coming to PlayStation 4 comes at the perfect time. At the moment, several launch games are lacking that next generation feel, so this announcement should give PlayStation 4 players hope for the future.

Sony's tagline coming up to launch is "Greatness Awaits," but at the moment greatness appears as if it has been delayed until Naughty Dog releases Uncharted 4 for PlayStation 4 fans.

No word when we'll know more of the game, but we wouldn't be surprised if Sony releases this title in Q4 of 2014.
