The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is said to be the continuation of Apple's iPad Air line, and good reviews have come for the premium tablet. Looking similar to the iPad Air 2 while packing power comparable to its bigger 12.9-inch counterpart, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro has been tagged "the best iPad yet built."
The iPad Pro is powered by Apple's A9X chip and M9 motion coprocessor, with a 12 MP rear-facing camera and 4K video recording capabilities.
All that said, the original iPad Air could still be considered a perfectly capable device, and for customers who are looking for an Apple tablet, an eBay listing currently has the original iPad Air for sale.
A listing by E-Tech Galaxy on the online commerce website is selling the 16 GB model of the first generation 9.7-inch iPad Air for only $329.99, representing a 34 percent discount and $170 in savings from the tablet's original price of $499.99.
It should be noted that the tablets being sold through the offer are brand new units and not refurbished ones. The iPad Air tablets will ship with Apple's iOS 8 pre-installed, and will come with a one-year limited hardware warranty for purchases in the United States. Buyers could also opt to add a two-year protection plan that includes accidents such as spills and drops for $64.99, or a simpler two-year protection plan for $29.99, both from SquareTrade.
The original iPad Air is powered by Apple A7 chip with the M7 motion coprocessor, with a 5 MP rear-facing camera. While obviously nowhere near in power compared to the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the original iPad Air is still very much usable for regular tablet activities such as browsing the Internet and playing games.
Users could also update the operating system of the tablet to iOS 9, to gain access to the most recent features of Apple's mobile operating system.
Customers who would like to take advantage of the offer should hurry though, as there is only a limited quantity available for the tablet. At the time of writing, more than 54 percent of the seller's stock of the 16 GB first-generation iPad Air have been sold.
