Back in January, Electronic Arts and Popcap Games released the open beta version of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, a comedic multiplayer shooter based on the massively popular Plants vs. Zombies titles.

The title, which was launched for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February, featured six new character classes, including Captain Deadbeard, Kernel Corn, Rose and Z-Mech. Several modes are also included in the wacky title, including Gardens and Graveyards, the Herbal Assault mode, the Graveyard Ops mode and the Flag of Power mode, inspired by king of the hill competitions.

To get more players to try out the game, Electronic Arts has released a 10-hour trial offer for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 on all platforms.

The offer will last until May 10, which will give players enough time to download and explore the title. Also, unlike other trial periods offered by Electronic Arts, the 10-hour trial for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is not limited only to EA Access or Origin members. Gamers on the PC, however, will need to access the Origin platform to be able to gain access to the trial.

Gamers that downloaded the game and then have their 10-hour trial expire could purchase the game afterwards. Doing so would allow them to keep all their accounts and the progress that they made in the game during the trial period.

Another zombie-infested game that made the news recently is Deadlight, which is a sidescrolling survival horror title that was first released in 2012.

The title, first launched for the PC and Xbox 360, will be having a remastered version for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Among the additions to the new version is the Survival Arena mode, which is claimed to be one of the hardest zombie challenges ever to come to a video game.
