Fans of the 90's show 7th Heaven were in for a special treat Tuesday evening when Stephen Collins, who played the father of the family, Rev. Camden, tweeted a very special family photo of his TV brood, looking like they never spent a day apart.

As tweeted by Collins, it was the first time the family had gotten together in eight years and the evening was full of joy and laughter.  Possibly, they were celebrating the 18th anniversary of the airing of the first episode of the series.  From the looks of it, everyone remains as delightful and close as they were when they were playing the happy family for 11 years on the WB and CW network.

Standing around a table in the photo were the parents of the family, Collins and his television wife, Catherine Hicks, along with the Camden children played by Barry Watson, Jessica Biel, David Gallagher, and Beverly Mitchell.  Missing from the reunion was youngest daughter, Ruthie, who was played by Mackenzie Rosman.

Mitchell, who maintains her own WhoSay account, is now a writer and producer based in Arcadia, California.  She posted how blessed she felt meeting her 7th Heaven family again:

"Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing! Love these peeps more than I can ever explain!" she wrote.

Kids who grew up in the 90's can't help but feel nostalgic about this unique family reunion.  Many grew up with the Camden kids on-screen from 1996 to 2007.  What began with a family of seven, grew into nine with the addition of twin boys in the final season.

The show ran for 243 episodes and followed the life of the Camden family.  Aside from themes such as growing pains, the successful show also delved into topics such as alcoholism, harassment, and religion.
