Some superheroes in movies make a note not to kill people in their endeavors: they might just hurt them really bad, but killing is often not on the table, thanks to a certain moral compass.

Wolverine is not like most superheroes, though, and he has actually killed quite a few people throughout the course of his time on the big screen, at least as long as he's been played by actor Hugh Jackman.

So, just how many people has Wolverine actually taken down? That's a question that YouTube user Mr. Sunday Movies recently asked, so he went through all the X-Men movies, including the solo Wolverine outings, and added up all those kills.

That might seem like a high body count, but it isn't all that surprising, considering how many movies in which this particular version of Wolverine has appeared. We first saw the character on screen in 2000's X-Men, but he also appeared in X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, The Wolverine, X-Men: Days of Future Past and even the recent X-Men: Apocalypse.

Of course, this count doesn't even include how many people he'll brutally slay in the upcoming untitled Wolverine film. However, that movie will probably be the last time we see Logan on screen, at least from what we currently know about the film. Early reports suggest that the story will follow the "Old Man Logan" arc from the comic books, but no one has yet confirmed that.
