A new YouTube post by EDM superstar and DJ Skrillex offers a glimpse into the new music video being shot for Suicide Squad. The video is for a highly-anticipated collaboration between Skrillex and rapper Rick Ross, and is expected to feature Jared Leto in his starring role as the Joker.

The film, which has already been shot and is set to debut on Aug. 5 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats, features an ensemble cast that includes Leto, along with Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne.

Fans are already buzzing about the flick on social media, especially since a recent screening was received positively by critics and moviegoers alike. Since then, fans have been seeking any media they can find concerning the film, including images and video clips. The most highly-mentioned character by far is Jared Leto's portrayal of Joker, the iconic Batman villain. Leto posted cryptic images on his account last week, giving a teaser for fans of the role, which he says he took very seriously.

"You take a deep breath. There is a responsibility I suppose that you can feel but it's also incredibly exciting," Leto says about the role. "The work that's been done on this character by so many people before me has been so impactful, so incredible, so much fun, so profound, so risky, that it's a very special thing to be asked to take on that responsibility."

Now, snippets of a new music video shoot rumored to feature Leto in the joker role have been posted by Skrillex, who is collaborating with Rick Ross on a song expected to be featured on the soundtrack. The song was first previewed by Skrillex during an Atlantic City Djing appearance, when listeners noticed various Suicide Squad references in Ross' lyrics.

The short YouTube clip doesn't give much away, but it shows some shots of two women painted up in Joker-style makeup cruising on the gritty urban streets as the Skrillex and Ross anthem blasts in the background. Observers find it more than coincidental that, around the same time, Leto also posted what appear to be brand new pictures of himself in full Joker regalia, leading to the conclusion that the star will be featured in the music video.

With less than two months until the film premieres, we may be treated to the entire video soon as the promotion for Suicide Squad ramps up in anticipation of its release.
