It really will feel like Christmas in July, thanks to the upcoming summer blowout sale on Amazon.

Cyber Monday might be the go-to shopping day for the holidays, but Amazon Prime Day is the day during the summer to get some of the best deals online.

Get those credit cards ready, because this year, the annual Amazon Prime Day will take place on July 12.

Prime members in the U.S., UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Belgium and Austria will be able to exclusively get discounts on items across a wide range of categories, with U.S. customers able to start shopping at midnight PDT on the 12th (3 a.m. EDT).

Both new and existing members will be able to take advantage of the deals, with the annual Prime membership costing $99 a year with many perks like two-day shipping and a new membership featuring a free 30-day trial. Yes, even those with free memberships can participate.

Amazon first introduced Prime Day last year in celebration of the online retailer's 20th birthday. However, many customers were disappointed last year and voiced their frustration on social media with the hashtag #PrimeDayFail when many items sold out quickly.

Even still, Amazon sold more items than on Black Friday 2014, which was the company's biggest day of sales to date (before 2015's Black Friday). It also got more customers signing up for Prime memberships.

To make sure this doesn't happen again, Amazon is increasing the amount of deals to include more than 100,000 of them in "nearly all departments and categories," with new deals showcased every five minutes throughout the day.

Here are some of the deals Prime members can look forward to:

Amazon said this Prime Day will feature two times as many TV deals as Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined in the U.S.

The TV sales will start early on July 5, with Amazon offering a 32-inch TV and Fire TV Stick bundle for just $119.99. "Countdown deals" from July 5 to July 11 will include deals on gadgets, products for summer travel, outdoor living, in-home essentials, products for foodies and back-to-school items. There will also be daily deals on TV series and blockbuster movies available to stream on Amazon Video or its Fire TV and Fire TV Stick products.

Besides TVs, Prime Day this year will also focus on sales on toys, which was a top-selling category in the U.S. last year. Amazon said that members will be able to get deals on toys all day long on July 12.

There will also be specials available for those who use Alexa on Amazon Echo, Echo Dot or Amazon Tap devices.

Amazon said there will be twice as many smaller business sellers participating in Prime Day, and members will be able to easily find deals by sorting by category.

The online retailer is also offering members to save an extra 5 percent on Prime Day purchases (and every day) when opening an Amazon Prime Store Card from now until July 12, and they will also get a $50 Amazon gift card.
