No video game is glitch-free. That's to be expected, as new glitches are bound to pop up after a game's release as millions of players get their hands on it.

That being said, the glitches in some games are far more noticeable than in others. Bethesda titles have a reputation for being glitchy, for example, and now gamers can add another glitch-heavy game to glitch Hall of Fame: Mafia III.

Since the game's release on Oct. 7, players across the web have been recording all the various glitches they've encountered while exploring Mafia III's fictional 1968 New Orleans. The glitches tend to come in two varieties judging from the plethora of them posted on Reddit.

Many are physics-based, wherein vehicles, NPCs and other objects in the world will bug out and act in a way they aren't supposed to, usually by flying through the air. It's pretty darn funny actually, though it does make it harder for players to actually get to their destination.

The other main kind appears to be graphical glitches. These see objects pop in and out of the game, day becomes night and much, much more. You can check out just a few of the glitches players have encountered below.

Mafia 3 or Harry Potter?

Guess he wasn't a bad guy after all...

Grunts re-park my car in worst way possible!

More than a few players (and reviewers) have suggested Mafia III could have benefited from a few more months of development time, and perhaps they are right. Minor glitches are to be expected, but seeing so many flying cars in the world of Mafia III goes a long way toward ruining the immersion the developers worked so hard to create.

By all accounts Mafia III's world of New Bordeaux is a fascinating, exciting and detailed recreation of life in America during the 1960s, but only if the game is working as intended.

Thankfully, fans are gaming in the year 2016. No doubt the developers at Hangar 13 are working on a post-release patch that will address some of the more common problems players are experiencing. In fact, Hangar 13 has already released a new patch on PC that allows those with high-performance gaming rigs to take full advantage. No word yet on when players can expect to see some of these bugs to be squashed, but we can at least laugh at them in the meantime.
