It's only been a day since the big Nintendo Switch reveal on Thursday, Oct. 20, but it seems that the internet is already going crazy over this latest gaming console. While some fans were happy to share their excitement on Twitter, others just couldn't help but crack a few jokes at the expense of Nintendo's newest offering.

Here are 10 of the most hilarious things people posted on social media about the Nintendo Switch.

One of the first things people noticed about the new console-tablet hybrid is its design, which shares the same-controller-with-a-screen look as the Wii U.

Twitter user Wizzrobe, a known Super Smash Bros. Melee professional, even commented that the Switch looks to be more portable and offers more options than its predecessor. However, it's CUTEOSPHERE's comment about the console's "puppy ears" that takes the cake.

Eliot shares in CUTEOSPHERE's canine comparison, pointing out that the Switch looks a lot like Droopy.

Two other fans also seemed to have been inspired by the Switch's flexible design and went on to incorporate it to their Wii U and PS Vita's design.

Destructoid claims that he or she already had a Nintendo Switch a long time.

Even legendary Nintendo game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, who created the Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda series, shared his own take on the console-tablet's look.

With Apple ditching the headphone jack for the iPhone 7, Bernhard Steiner welcomed the idea that the Switch at least didn't follow this jack-less route.

Paolo Pedercini says he isn't interested about the new Nintendo gaming console as much as he is about the high-end condos and possessions the people playing the Nintendo Switch owned in the teaser trailer.

Emanuel Koeblerg, on the other hand, chose to post a public health concern. He asked which item between Apple's Bluetooth earbuds and the Nintendo Switch's detachable controllers will emergency personnel have to pull out of people's butts more often.

Nintendo has always tried to market its products as something that every family member can use, especially the kids. However, as Eline Muijres' collection of people's tweets imply, the Switch may be geared more toward an adult audience than expected.

Those are just some of the funny things internet folks are saying about the Nintendo Switch. What are your thoughts about the new gaming console? Is it going to be the next big hit or flop in gaming? Sound off in the comments below.
