Budget conscious buyers now have a new Android smartphone they can opt for — the Vivo XL2 from BLU Products.

The BLU Vivo XL2 has now gone up for sale in the United States and is priced at $149.99. The mid-range smartphone is the successor of the Vivo XL and offers modest features.

The company had a six-hour flash sale on Jan. 25, which kicked off at 11 a.m. EST and wrapped up at 5 p.m. EST, where consumers could avail the handset at a discounted price of $99.99 while supplies last.

This limited period offer was confirmed by BLU Products in a Twitter post.

The response to the lightning deal was overwhelming as revealed by the company in a post on its official Facebook page. The company shared that all the handsets were claimed in just 10 minutes.

BLU Vivo XL2 Specs And Features

The Vivo XL2 boasts a 5.5-inch HD screen with BLU Infinite View (IPS) and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. It also deploys Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, the device packs in a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor, which is clocked at 1.4 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. The handset also has Mali-T720 GPU.

The Vivo XL2 also offers 32 GB of onboard storage, which is expandable to an additional 64 GB via a microSD card. The device has a 13-megapixel primary camera, as well as an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The rear-facing camera offers support for LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF).

The dual-SIM smartphone is compatible with GSM networks, which means it will work with AT&T and T-Mobile networks. If you are tied to Verizon or Sprint, then the handset will not be compatible. The Vivo XL 2 will also support 4G LTE and has Bands 12 with VoLTE and HD support, which will please T-Mobile subscribers.
