The LG G6 is gearing up for its launch on Feb. 26 at the MWC and as the smartphone's debut inches closer, the South Korean company is frequently teasing details of the impending handset.

Close on the heels of teasing that the LG G6 would be possibly be equipped with two voice assistants, the company has shown off a new video which gives a peek into the new UI for the smartphone.

LG shared the video on YouTube on Feb. 15, which reveals the LG UX 6.0 interface that is based on Android 7.0 Nougat

"Here's the sneak peek of our latest innovations, LG G6 and LG UX 6.0! Join us to enjoy a new viewing experience with the FullVision display," notes LG.

The video offers a quick glimpse into the new interface and reveals how the UI has continued to evolve from the predecessor's UX 5.0 to the LG V20's UX 5.0+.

What Else Does The LG Teaser Reveal?

The LG teaser not only gives a peek into the UX 6.0, but also reveals that the LG G6 flagship from the company will boast curved corners.

The video teases four hashtags for the LG G6 namely - #Square, #FullVision, #UX and #Graphics. The video briefly teases each of the features for the LG G6.

The UI elements it seems from the video do not benefit from drastic alterations. LG it seems is channeling all its focus on making the UI apt for making the most of the LG G6's FullVision display, which will have an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The camera app of the LG G6 is also detailed in the short video and it reveals that the smartphone will boast a Square Mode. Thanks to this mode users will be able to click images in 1:1 format. The Food Mode will enable users to take high resolution pictures of food. Thanks to the square images, LG G6 users will have the ability to make a Collage Wallpaper.

That is not all. Users of the LG G6 will be able to create GIFs via their media library.

"There is also new shooting mode called Food Mode that delivers high color quality and saturation ideal for, well, food. Users can create GIF files by combining anywhere from 2 and 100 pictures in a loop," notes the company.

LG also asserts that the new UX will offer users an enhanced experience when surfing the web or viewing video clips. The enhanced camera UX will also be able to take maximum advantage of the 18:9 format.

The company also shared that the GUI has been designed intelligently and will enable a user two open to square windows simultaneously, leading to an enhanced multi-tasking experience on the smartphone.
