Google is trying to promote its VR headset the Daydream quite rampantly it seems. During the Game Developers Conference (GDC) which is currently underway in San Francisco, the company announced that it would soon add three more games to the list of titles designed specifically for its VR headset.

Google revealed that not one or two, but three new titles would be released soon exclusively for the Daydream VR. The three games announced are Virtual Rabbids, Beartopia and Along Together.

Virtual Rabbids

This is a game in the popular Rabbids series being created by Ubisoft and the original developers, which brings the series to VR for the first time. It will make full use of the Daydream controller in the game.

It will allow players to interact with the funny creatures in the game known as Rabbids and would feature adventure and humorous activities.

Google revealed that award winning indie game developer Spry Fox would soon release its next title dubbed Beartopia and it will be exclusive to the Daydream VR.

The game is touted to be a co-op experience where players have to build and maintain a village. The co-op feature would allow the gamers to make friends and play with them to ensure that their own village is prosperous.

This is the first time Spry Fox is developing a VR game and Google stated that it was excited to see what the indie developer would be able to deliver

"Indies have long been a key pillar of Google Play, and we're excited to see that continue on Daydream," states the company's blog regarding the game.

Turbo Button

This game is said to be a 3D puzzle solving game where players will take the role of an imaginary friend and make their way through treacherous areas.

If anything, the premise of the game sounds different and it would be interesting to see if the developers can capitalize on it.

Sale On VR Games

As way of celebrating the GDC, Google has announced that three of the popular VR titles will be on sale from March 1 and will be available for half the original price.

The three games are Gunjack 2: End of Shift, Need for Speed: No Limits VR and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

The Google Daydream VR is available at the Google Store currently at $79 and the headset is compatible with both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL devices, as well other devices like the Moto Z, Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Asus Zenfone AR.
