Nintendo has just announced more than 60 indie titles coming to the Switch, its very imminent hybrid console landing on retail stores March 3. Such a sizable list is good news for both gamers and developers, because the former will have an eclectic array of titles to choose from in the coming months, and it proves the system is easy to develop for, as the company claims.

Overwhelming Indie Support For The Switch

While many of the announced titles won't be out and about later on in the year, the colossal amount of support is Nintendo's way of saying that it's taking third-parties seriously.

"We're working with both mainstream and independent developers to make Nintendo Switch the destination for entertaining games and experiences," said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America's Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations.

Some of the biggest titles include Stardew Valley, which comes this summer, with the Switch to be the first console to feature multiplayer mode; Tumbleseed, which comes out this spring; Overcooked: Special Edition, which comes later this year packing HD rumble support; and Yooka-Laylee, with a vague "soon" for a release window.
