JamCity and FoxNext Games unveiled a new game dubbed Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game.

Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game was launched on Wednesday, April 24, for the iOS and Android platform. The game is based on the much-loved Family Guy franchise.

JamCity is well-known for other games such as Cookie Jam and Panda Pop. The developer also acquired TinyCo in 2016, which produced the much-loved Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff game after being inspired by The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

The game is touted to be a hilarious match-3 game and includes characters from the popular Family Guy animated TV show.

"It's time you wet your whistle and put a little Peter in your pocket! From the producers of the hit TV show, Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game features your favorite characters and moments from all 15 seasons of Family Guy," the game's description reads.

The game has been created in close partnership with the actual writers of the TV show to make it an authentic Family Guy experience for players.

However, Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game is not like any other match-3 puzzles. Instead, the developers have introduced various character animations and jokes, which will be revealed depending on the player's match choices.

Currently, the game features 160 challenging levels and will offer players four distinct game modes. For instance, players can choose to fill drinks for Peter, or collect condoms for Quagmire, collect makeup for Meg, and more.

Players will also be able to take part in limited period quests, which when completed would bring rewards such as iconic character costumes, boosters, coins, Family Guy stories, and more.

Moreover, the developers would constantly update and add new content to the game, which will tie in with the storyline of the recent episodes of the TV show.

"Another freakin' mobile game? I think we all feared this was coming. There's no better way to turn match-3 on its head than bringing the gang from Quahog into the mix," Rick Phillips, Executive Vice President at FoxNext Games, revealed in a statement.

What Next For JamCity?

Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game is one of six games that JamCity will release in 2017. To take on this colossal task, the company hired more people. This has taken its employee count to over 500.

However, the developer has been faring well in the market with its games being downloaded more than 800 million times. In 2016, JamCity's revenue accounted for $300 million and it expects this figure to go up to $450 million in 2017.

Android and iOS users can download the Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game for free from the Google Play and App Store, respectively.
