Now you can't just go out and shop willy nilly on Black Friday. Hopefully, you've formulated some sort of plan of attack by now and understand how to survive the big day. In case you haven't, your first step is to figure out what time stores open for Black Friday shopping this year so you have the all-important information of knowing when to show up. Though you could spend time searching near and far on the Interwebs for when all of the Black Friday deals will begin this year, there's no fun in that. - 8 a.m.: Family Dollar, RadioShack, Walgreens
- 1 p.m.: Hastings
- 4 p.m.: hhgregg, Michaels, Old Navy
- 5 p.m.: Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Toys 'R Us,
- 6 p.m.: Belk, Kohl's, Macy's, Modell's, Office Depot, OfficeMax, Sears, Sears Appliance & Hardware, Sears Hometown Store, Sears Outlet, Sports Authority, Staples, Target, Victoria's Secret, Walmart
- 8 p.m.: ULTA
Black Friday
- 12 a.m.: GameStop
- 5 a.m.: Academy Sports + Outdoors, A.C. Moore, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Navy Exchange
- 6 a.m.: Bed, Bath & Beyond, Guitar Center, Meijer, Northern Tool
- 7 a.m.: Ace Hardware, Marshalls, Pep Boys, PetSmart, Rite Aid, Sam's Club (members only; open to the public starting 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29), T.J. Maxx
- 8 a.m.: Banana Republic, JoS. A. Bank, REI
- 9 a.m.: Costco
