U.S. carrier Sprint has officially started taking preorders for Apple's new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablets, with shipping set for next week.

Apple took the wraps off its latest iPad Pro tablets earlier this month at WWDC 2017 and the slates are ready to hit store shelves. Sprint was the last of the four major carriers in the United States to announce its plans for the new iPad Pro models and it has now joined the party, kicking off preorders ahead of a June 13 release. The new iPad Pro tablets will run the latest iOS 11.

Since Apple sets the pricing of its iPad Pro models, Sprint doesn't have much of a say in this matter other than offer installment options so that interested customers don't have to pay it all upfront. It's also worth pointing out that the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories designed for the new iPads are available for purchase separately, not bundled with the tablets themselves.

Here's what you need to know about Sprint's options and pricing for the new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablets with cellular connectivity.

Sprint 10.5-Inch iPad Pro

Sprint is offering the 10.5-inch iPad Pro with 64 GB of storage for $0 down, followed by 24 monthly installments of $32.50 per month. Alternately, this version costs $779.99 outright.

A higher configuration with 256 GB of storage is available for $100 down and 24 monthly installments of $32.50, or $879.99 outright. The highest storage configuration with 512 GB of locker space requires $200 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $36.67, or $1,079.99 outright.

This iPad Pro model has a 10.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1668 x 2224 pixels (265 ppi), a 64-bit hexa-core Apple A10X Fusion processor, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and a 7-megapixel front shooter with HDR among the highlights.

Sprint 12.9-Inch iPad Pro

The larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, meanwhile, is a tad more expensive. Sprint is offering the 64 GB variant for $100 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $34.59 per month, or $929.99 outright. The 256 GB model is available for $200 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $34.59, or $1,029.99 outright. Those looking for the top variant with 512 GB of storage space will have to shell out $300 down followed by 24 monthly installments of $38.75, or $1,229.99 outright.

This iPad model features a 12.9-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2048 x 2732 pixels (265 ppi), a 12-megapixel main camera, a 7-megapixel selfie cam with HDR, and an Apple A10X Fusion processor.

"Support for LTE Advanced and 802.11ac Wi-Fi, along with an embedded Apple SIM make it easier to stay connected when traveling in more than 180 countries and regions," Sprint highlights.

Keep in mind, however, that some variants such as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro in Silver, with 64 GB of storage, are already in high demand and shipping dates are starting to slip. Most models are still expected to ship on June 13, or later in the month if demand is high. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 256 GB in Silver, however, is slated to ship on July 15.
