For Black Friday 2017, Verizon wants you to have the flagship smartphone you've always wanted.

That said, the Big Red is taking up to 50 percent off the original price of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the Moto Z2 Force, the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8.

Verizon Black Friday Deals

This holiday, Verizon will let you pay just half the cost for select Android smartphones, but the thing is, it's not exactly as simple as, say, forking over $325 for the $650 Pixel 2.

First of all, the catch is you have to sign up for Verizon Unlimited along with your purchase to get the discount.

More than that, you're going to pay the full price of the device over 24 months in installments. The savings come in the form of a bill credit that amounts to 50 percent of each monthly payment.

Now if you decide to cut ties with Verizon anytime during that period, you're going to lose that credit. In other words, the carrier is locking you in for two years.

That's not even the end of it, either. You won't really get 50 percent off in certain cases, as the promo will apply only up to $378 credit to your account.

For example, it doesn't matter even if you buy the $960 Galaxy Note 8. You'll still get that fixed amount of $378.

More Verizon Black Friday Offers

Verizon has more than just the discount to make its Black Friday deals sweeter.

A 32 GB iPad is up for grabs for just $199 if you buy it with one of the flagships mentioned earlier, and it goes all the way down to $99 if you nab an iPhone on device payment. If that doesn't fit the bill, you can get the carrier's tablet Ellipsis 10 HD for just $29.99 with a two-year agreement instead.

You can also save $100 when you purchase eligible Android phones that cost more than $400 with an Unlimited plan. This offer applies to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7, Pixel and Pixel XL, LG G6 and V20, Moto Z Force, Kyocera Dura Force Pro between Nov. 23 and 24. It then expands to include the aforementioned flagships, the LG V30, and the Asus ZenFone AR from Nov. 25 to 26. The $100 credit will be applied over 24 months as well.

Last but not least, Verizon also has a slew of accessories and other gadgets on sale:

Google Home: $79.99 (save $50)

Google Home Mini: $29.99 (save $20 and get a $10 prepaid card from Nov. 23 to 27)

If you've been sold on what Verizon is bringing to the table, then you should know that they'll be available online on Nov. 23, Thursday, and in stores on Black Friday.

However, if none of them tickle your fancy, then it's worth noting that T-Mobile has a similar offer: BOGO deals on some of the latest smartphones, including but not limited to the Galaxy S8 Active, iPhone 8, LG V30+, and LG G6.
