Bethesda gave its fans exciting news as the developer announced the schedule for its E3 2018 conference, which is on June 10, 6:30 p.m. PST.

It seems to have become a yearly thing for the developer to give the public a chance to attend and experience its lineup of titles. In fact, this is the fourth time the game studio opened its doors to the public, media, and industry experts. For control purpose, the developer urges fans to register ahead of time to earn the opportunity to enjoy the event. Bethesda will reveal the mechanics on how to sign up at a later date. Therefore, everyone is encouraged to stay tuned for updates.

Teaser Video Hints

Bethesda is responsible for some of the biggest AAA titles released for multiple platforms. However, the list of games that will be showcased during its pre-E3 conference has yet to be unveiled. Fortunately, the game studio also released a short teaser footage of several iconic characters from its software catalog.

The clip shows a stop-motion video starring several paper cutouts of figures taken from games like Dishonored, Fallout, Doom, and more. Some have already started to scour the footage for some clues that might reveal something new.

Fans Can Expect Something New

In 2016, Bethesda reportedly teased that the development team has already started work on two projects that are supposedly "bigger than anything" the studio made in the past. Most sources speculate that it could be brand new IP that features the same gameplay mechanics as Fallout or Skyrim. Likewise, it was confirmed that the upcoming game would not be The Elder Scrolls 6, which is apparently under development but supposedly still far off from its public reveal.

Last year, a job listing posted by the game studio wanted to hire people for a "bleeding-edge AAA freemium game" in development. This could be one of the possible announcements in store for its E3 2018 conference.

Other suggestions claim that a Nintendo Switch port of Fallout or Dishonored 2 might be on its way for the hybrid game system.

E3 Expectations

This year's E3 is expected to feature some major announcements from both developers and hardware manufacturers. Sony still has some unreleased first-party games that could get playable demos during the game show. Nintendo usually holds a separate conference before the event kicks off.

Unfortunately, other games like Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, The Last of us Part 2 form Naughty Dog, and Kingdom Hearts 3 from Square Enix might overshadow Bethesda's E3 presentation.
