Let's face it. When human beings encounter a weird flying object in the sky, it's not often that it gets captured in order to be witnessed again.

However, a newly declassified video has surfaced online showing U.S. Navy pilots witnessing what appears to be an unidentified flying object in the sky. The U.S. Navy F/A-18 fighter plane was able to capture incredible footage of the white UFO with its sensors while flying over the Atlantic Ocean in 2015.

U.S. Navy Pilots Capture UFO Sighting

In the currently trending video, a terrified pilot screams, questioning what the flying object is. "What the f*** is that thing?" he asks.

"Wow, what is that, man?" another excited pilot repeatedly asks. "Look at that flying!" he says.

The unidentified object seems to have a white oval shape and it's moving at a fast speed while flying low over the water. The sensor was unable to capture the weird flying object at first but finally caught it by the third attempt.

On Friday, March 9, the video was released by the To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science (TTSA), a private group of scientists, aerospace engineers, and talented team of researchers currently led by Blink 182's former guitarist, Tom DeLonge.

According to the New York Times, the Department of Defense started a program specifically dedicated to investigating UFO sightings, however, they shut it down sometime in 2012.

Christopher Mellon, an adviser for the TTSA, expressed that he was highly concerned that the government is not investigating UFO sightings.

"The current approach is equivalent to having the Army conduct a submarine search without the Navy," Mellon wrote in an article for The Washington Post.

"Nobody wants to be 'the alien guy' in the national security bureaucracy; nobody wants to be ridiculed or sidelined for drawing attention to the issue," Mellon continued.

This is not the first video capturing what looks like a flying saucer. The group released at least three other declassified videos from U.S. Navy pilots in December 2017. Former U.S. Navy Commander David Fravor even said he witnessed unrecognizable flying objects that looked exactly like UFOs back in 2004. While some people might think Fravor is crazy, the pilot has been up in the air for 18 years and has not seen anything like the strange-looking flying objects in his entire time of flying.
