The next OnePlus smartphone has been the subject of rumors and leaks for some time, and now reliable sources have revealed there are three variants in store: OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

Some of their specs have been leaked too, and while they're not complete, they paint a clear picture of some of the key differences among them, particularly between the standard OnePlus 7 and the Pro version.

OnePlus 7 vs. OnePlus 7 Pro

Steve McFly, also known as OnLeaks, and Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), two of whom are notable leaksters with good track records when it comes to Android devices, let the cat out of the bag.

According to them, the OnePlus 7 will have a 6.4-inch flat display with a waterdrop or teardrop notch for the front-facing camera, while the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a nearly bezel-less 6.64-inch curved Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display with a front camera that pops up when it's activated. Agarwal adds (via Android Central) that the latter will have a 90 Hz refresh rate too.

As for the rear camera configurations, the OnePlus 7 is said to have two, one of which is a 48-megapixel sensor as its primary snapper. The other sensor's specs weren't specified. On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel sensor as its main coupled with telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

Agarwal also mentions that the Pro variant will come with a USB 3.1 port, dual speakers, and a 4,000 mAh battery with Warp Charge support (power delivery at a rate of 30W).

It's unclear how the two will differ from the 5G version — aside from its network connectivity, of course. It could share the same specs as the OnePlus 7 Pro and simply have 5G capability, but there's no way of telling if that would be the case or not.

Both leaksters say that OnePlus may unveil its new lineup at an event on May 14.

As usual, it's recommended to take this news with a grain of salt, as nothing's ever official until OnePlus announces anything.

It's worth noting that the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed that the OnePlus 7 won't have wireless charging support. He also recently said that it would be "fast and smooth" but "especially smooth."

Earlier OnePlus 7 Leak

Renders of the OnePlus 7 have already leaked before, but based on the new info now, it seems to have been for the Pro variant. At that, they showed off a pop-up camera and a nearly bezel-less display, two features that are now being attributed to the Pro.
