You guys remember The Hamburglar? You know, one of those freaky-looking McDonald's mascots that wore a mask, a big, black hat and a black-and-white striped outfit?

Was he bad? He always tried to keep all of the McDonald's hamburgers for himself, but like he was still friends with Ronald McDonald and the gang. What was up with that?

In any case, you probably don't want to be compared to him. One local TV host found that out the hard way.

Tim Ezell, the former host of a morning show on FOX's St. Louis affiliate, introduced his colleague April Simpson as "The Hamburglar" during one morning broadcast filmed about a year and a half ago, according to Mashable. And Simpson was. Not. Having. It.

If throwing shade with your eyes is possible, which we all know that it is, then that is exactly what Simpson did in response. She had the deadliest of all death stares. And then she said, "It's your birthday, I'll let it pass. No I won't, I'll get you later." What makes this video great is that I totally believe she meant it.

After that, Simpson just carried on with reporting the news of the day, but you know in her mind she was really plotting her revenge. We don't know if or when Simpson got Ezell back, but he apparently left the station back in July 2014 to be the lead pastor of The Journey ministry in Missouri's South County. No, I didn't see that one coming either.

Though this video is kind of old now in terms of Internet years, it has gained popularity recently thanks to comedian Kevin Hart posting the video on his Facebook page Tuesday. The post has nearly 2.5 million views at the time of this writing. And of course, the memes ensued.

It's a good thing Simpson wasn't dressed like Grimace that day.
