Ben Affleck's Batman suit in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is quite different when compared with the others we've seen in the past, especially that of one used in Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. We understand it takes Affleck 25 minutes to get into the suit, with the help of three assistants.

According to Batsuit designer Michael Wilkinson, the suit is complex mainly due to the fact that Zack Snyder wants Affleck to be able to turn his head. If one remembers correctly, Christian Bale was not able to turn his head in his Batsuit, and it clearly shows. The same can be said for other actors who wore the cape and cowl before him.

"That's actually one of the first things that Snyder mentioned to me in one of our initial meetings," Wilkinson says. "It's a very important thing to Zack that the Batsuit would be comfortable and very flexible, but then would be able to perform in a very natural and forceful way. So a lot of incredible engineering went into the development of the new black cowl."

Wilkinson claims putting on the Batsuit on Affleck is a six-handed operation. He also said it involves multiple customers to build, so it is safe to say this Ben Affleck's Batsuit could be the most complex and expensive of them all.

We're very happy to know that Affleck is able to move his head in the suit because it gives us the impression that this new take on Batman could be more flexible in fight scenes. We might very well get a true rendition of the Batman we've come to love in the comics and animated series.

Christopher Nolan's take on the character was too stiff, and the fight scenes were underwhelming. If there is one terrible thing about the trilogy, it would have to be the fight scenes that includes the Batman.

However, with Zack Snyder's vision being more comic book than grounded in reality, Batman could very well kick some serious butt and break bones.
