There is no denying that we can't wait for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens to arrive in theaters on Christmas Day — especially now that the second official teaser for the film has been released.

When huge blockbusters hit the big screen, their characters often go on to become pop culture sensations we can't just let go (ahem, Elsa from Frozen). Star Wars is full of enduring iconic characters, and as we watched that new teaser from the J.J. Abram film, we couldn't be happier to see the return of one of our favorite characters — Chewbacca, standing beside Harrison Ford as Han Solo.

But Star Wars: The Force Awakens isn't the only video to feature the Millennium Falcon co-pilot. The Wookiee warrior is also starring in a hilarious new Star Wars spoof on the hit show Louie. And it seems like off-screen Chewie is really living a life strangely similar to that of actor and comedian Louie C.K.

The YouTube channel Nerdist released the hilarious parody last Wednesday that mirrors the opening credits to Louie C.K.'s Emmy Award-winning show Louie. But instead of the comedian, it's Chewbacca coming up from the subway as the "Chewie" theme music plays.

Chewbacca is seen walking the streets of New York City, stopping to grab a quick slice of pizza as a storm trooper flashes the middle finger.

He then enters the comedy club, where he speaks in his Wookiee accent.

From the looks of this parody, Chewie seems like the laid-back kind of guy we'd want to hang with.
