For a long time, Chris Jericho was one of the best performers in the WWE. He's a legend at this point, and the fact that he's still willing to make returns to the ring (usually to help a fledgling athlete's career) is amazing.

However, Jericho's a busy man: as the lead singer of Fozzy, Jericho's WWE appearances have been sporadic over the past few years. It's understandable, as the man successfully made it out of an incredibly demanding business, but it's clear that there's still a huge desire for Jericho's signature style.

While it's not exactly the same thing as in-ring action, fans have been able to watch Jericho in action over at the WWE Network podcast.

He's been working the show for the past few weeks, and for the most part, fans seem to love it...though they probably shouldn't get too attached to the idea of Jericho hosting the show.

As it turns out, the WWE Network podcast won't be around for too much longer - though there's a good reason for that.

On the last episode of Jericho's personal podcast, Talk is Jericho, he confirmed that he would be making appearances at WWE house shows throughout the summer...but between these appearances and personal obligations, the podcast will be taking a back seat.

Granted, most fans are going to be excited for Jericho's return to the ring. The man is still a fantastic performer, even after sitting out for months at a time. There is one caveat, however: none of Jericho's upcoming performances are scheduled for broadcast TV or pay-per-view. As it stands, Jericho will only be appearing at WWE's off-air live events, so unless you're in the stands, don't expect to see Jericho.

Jericho admitted that the reason behind the live appearances are due to both Fozzy performances and his family's schedule. That being said, it's not as if Jericho is only going to show up to one or two events: Y2J is scheduled for 19 different appearances throughout June, July and August.

Despite the fact that he's both a rock star and a family man, Jericho still makes time for live WWE events - and that's what sets him apart from most of the other athlete's on the company's roster.
