Just one day after iPhone 6 molds were photographed, images of what appears to be the iPhone 6 front panel in comparison with the iPhone 5S appeared on Chinese social media site Weibo. The panel appears significantly bigger than the entire iPhone 5S, hinting that the rumors of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 could be true.

The photos were posted by a user on Weibo known only as Jiezhixc. Of course, it is impossible to say whether the photos are the real deal or not, but they are consistent with what's coming out of the rumor mill. The iPhone 6 front panel in the photos has the thinner bezel and larger size that many expect to see on Apple's next iPhone. The cutouts for the camera, microphone and home button are all in the right places and it certainly has the Apple aesthetic.

If the front panel's display area wasn't larger than the entire iPhone 5S handset, you'd almost think it was the current flagship. The panel appears to feature a display of around 4.7-inches just like rumors have hinted, but without a ruler or some other object to go by, it's impossible to determine the exact screen size shown in the photographs.

Both photos appear to be shot in a factory, which would make sense, as Apple generally tries to keep its upcoming devices cloistered away as much as possible. Although the first photo shows the front panel in comparison with a dark iPhone 5S, the second photo shows it beside an alert iPhone 5S with its display turned on to give the viewer a better idea of just how much bigger the next iPhone will allegedly be.

The speed, frequency and similarities between leaks have increased significantly in the past month, leading many to believe that we will see the iPhone 6 debut in September. Reliable sources such as KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have already tapped their supply chain sources to alert investors to Apple's iPhone 6 plans.

Kuo has it on good authority that the iPhone 6 will come in two sizes, 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches; feature 1GB RAM, much to the chagrin of iPhone users; the A8 processor; Touch ID; NFC and a higher resolution camera. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek also hinted yesterday that Apple may be considering raising the price of the iPhone 6 by $100.
