Mad Max: Fury Road was one of the summer's biggest surprises. It wasn't just a good action movie, it was a breath of fresh air among the rest of the tepid blockbusters.

There were obviously big explosions and tons of car crashes, but the everything was done so expertly that, for the first time in a long time, a two-hour action flick didn't feel like a drawn-out CG cartoon.

That being said, Mad Max: Fury Road wasn't a perfect movie. For all its epic explosions and amazing car chases, the movie was missing one crucial element: lightsabers.

Thankfully, it looks like the fans have come to the rescue: thanks to YouTube user Krishna Shenoi, you can now what the Mad Max: Fury Road/Star Wars crossover you never knew you needed.

After all, if there's anything that could make Fury Road's crashes and explosions even better, it's the Millennium Falcon:

In all seriousness, it's a beautifully-edited trailer: it wouldn't have been hard to make those X-Wings and TIE Fighters look like clip art, but that's clearly not an issue. Shots like the Millennium Falcon flying through a tornado or Furiosa wielding a lightsaber look like something out of their own movie, not a fan-made trailer.

Now the only thing left to do is wait and see if someone can take one of the Star Wars Episode VII trailers and give it the Mad Max treatment...though it might be tough for Fury Road's cars to keep up with something like a TIE Fighter.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Mad Max: Fury Road has received the fan trailer treatment: apparently, Mario Kart isn't quite the family-friendly experience we all thought it was...

If you're looking for the original Mad Max: Fury Road experience, you can pick up the film on DVD and Blu-Ray on Sept. 1. Otherwise, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Unleashed is set to hit theaters on Dec. 18.
