Floyd Mayweather Jr. is throwing his money in Ronda Rousey's face, as the fighters' feud just keeps going.

While promoting his September 12 bout against Andre Berto in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 6), Mayweather used some of his time to take a swipe at the UFC women's bantamweight champion.

"I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes," Mayweather said on ESPN's SportsCenter. "When she can do that, then call me."

It was the latest jab offered in the continued exchange between the two undefeated fighters and top champs of their respective sports. The feud really ignited when Mayweather commented in July 2014 that he didn't know who Rousey even was.

The dominanting mixed-martial arts (MMA) phenom patiently waited for a year, until defeating Mayweather for the Fighter of the Year award at the ESPYs last month, to finally respond.

"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said, while accepting the award on the ESPYs red carpet, referring to the unbeaten boxer's domestic violence history. "I'd like to see him pretend to not know who I am now."

"I know for damn sure that he knew who I was, because he was running against me for Best Fighter that year and he has signed MMA fighters," Rousey had commented during a media day last month as well. "So his feigned ignorance was meant to be a snarky remark to me."

On Thursday, Mayweather addressed that, too, before perhaps sarcastically congratulating Rousey on her success in the UFC.

"A while back I didn't know who Ronda Rousey was, so I'm pretty sure she got upset," Mayweather said. "I want to say congratulations to Ronda Rousey and the UFC. You guys have done a tremendous job and I've won probably six or seven ESPYS for Fighter of the Year. And I truly believe she deserves it. Congratulations to Ronda Rousey."

The women's bantamweight champion is fresh off her 34-second knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC 190 last weekend in Brazil to improve to 12-0. Meanwhile, the undefeated Mayweather maintains that his September 12 bout against Berto will be his 49th and final fight, although many boxing fans think he may grant Manny Pacquiao a rematch next year for his 50th and final bout.
