Pre-loading is coming to all Playstation 4 users beginning with Destiny. The move gives gamers much less waiting time when the games officially launch, as now the entirety of the game can be downloaded and ready to play ahead of the specific date the game will be made available. This should reduce the time that users spend to download and then play immediately once the game is live.

Sony has announced that beginning in the fall with Bungie's next title, Destiny, gamers will be able to download the entire game when they pre-order and have it all queued up and ready to roll when the clock strikes midnight on the launch date.

Users and online gamers are already praising the company for the decision, saying the annoying download time once the game is launched has been one they would love to avoid.

Watch Dogs will not have the options of pre-loading, but Destiny will, meaning users can download the game after pre-ordering it, and then come Sept. 9, they will have full access to all the contents.

Many users had expected Watch Dogs to have the pre-load feature after rumors of the option was spreading across the Internet, but Sony dispelled that rumor in a statement announcing the pre-loading options.

"We also wanted to let you know that Watch Dogs does not support the pre-downloading feature," Sony said in its message. "However, beginning with Destiny, all pre-orders on PlayStation Store will have the pre-download functionality."

The idea of pre-loading is a popular one in the video game industry and users across the world are hopeful that with the option now readily available, gamers will get to see gameplay almost immediately on the date the game is launched. This means no more waiting around as the game downloads into the system.

Sony believes this will help boost initial sales of games, as users will be able to be among the first to play the game in their area because they will have immediate access at the stroke of midnight.

If they pre-ordered the game, that is.

Destiny is about the best possible game to launch pre-loading with, as it is a massive role player game that should bring together users from all over the planet. And now, it can happen instantaneously.

Destiny will be launched on PS4, PS3 as well as Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game is seen as a potential huge success and users are expected to line up in droves to pre-load the game and get ready for the action.
