Snapchat CEO, Evan Spiegel, is in a bit of a pickle right now after an email he sent to his frat brothers back in 2009, was leaked to the web. The email shows a nasty side of Spiegel, because some of the contents are truly cringe worthy.

The emails he wrote to his frat brothers were designed to get them riled up for parties, though we have to wonder if he couldn't have done it in a more humane manner.

Here are some of the contents taken from the emails:

"Hope at least six girl [sic] sucked your dicks last night."

"Did I just pee on Lily ... the back of her shirt is soaked."

"See everyone on the blackout express soon."

"Papa Spiegel [a big-time L.A. lawyer] is liable for underage drinking, he's cool with it ... "

"Shopping list: 1 ounce of marijuana, 1 kilo of blow ... I'll roll a blunt for whoever sees the most tits tonight."

Spiegel says he mortified at the leaked emails, and he should be because they are terrible.

"I'm obviously mortified and embarrassed that my idiotic emails during my fraternity days were made public. I have no excuse. I'm sorry I wrote them at the time and I was jerk to have written them. They in no way reflect who I am today or my views towards women," says Spiegel to Business Insider.

However, we should bear in mind that these emails were sent 5 years ago while the Snapchat founder and CEO was in Stanford University, and thus does not warrant the harsh beating he's getting from the press.

Yes, there's nothing right in what Spiegel did, but you know what's even more terrible? The fact that everything we send over the Internet nowadays in private are being recorded, and could be used against us in the future, especially if we become a person who is at the center of the public's eye.

Look what happened to former Firefox CEO, Brendan Eich, and even former Clippers owner, Donald Sterling. The big question we have to answer is this; are we all prepared to be judged by our past private moments?
