She may play it up on the big screen as action heroes like Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games or as Mystique in X-Men, but every J-Law fan knows that the blonde, highest paid actress in Hollywood, is a barrel of laughs off the red carpet (and heck, even on it!). So when she spilled the beans to The New York Times that she and other funny lady Amy Schumer were collaborating on a film together, the whole internet just simply screamed, YES!

Lawrence shared that she and Schumer plan to play sisters in a screenplay they have been developing together.

After watching Schumer's movie, Trainwreck, Lawrence said she could not help but want to get in touch with the actress. She sent an email saying in no small words, "I'm in love with you."

Lawrence's love email must have caught Schumer's eye because eventually those emails turned into texts and a beach vacation together, and now a developing baby of a screenplay which is currently around 100 pages long according to Lawrence.

Ah, a perfect Hollywood love affair!

On their collaboration together, Lawrence said that it has been perfect and one of the most enjoyable experiences of her life.

"Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up," she said of their creative process together.

The two are set to meet up in Chicago where they will continue writing their screenplay together, along with Schumer's sister, Kim, who also co-penned Trainwreck

We can't wait for this new Hollywood dynamic duo to take on the big screen together. In the meantime, we're also open to seeing more gal pal jetskiing photos as well.
