Sony's doubling down on its commitment to hi-resolution audio with a new line of premium headphones and a new Walkman. Unveiled today at IFA in Berlin, the products are committed to offering users high-quality sound beyond the standard compression of MP3 audio.

There's not a lot of information forthcoming on the products at present, but Sony noted the inclusion of over-ear headphones (H.ear On), in-ear (H.ear In) and an as-of-yet unnamed Walkman music player aimed at high-quality music devices such as Neil Young's Pono music player.
