Well, this has to be the most appropriate Game of Thrones casting ever. The Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men will be heading to Westeros for Season 6 of the HBO series, Entertainment Weekly reports.

News of the casting first leaked on Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall, which pointed out that band members Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, Ragnar “Raggi” Þórhallsson and Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson had been spotted in costume on the set of Season 6 of Game of Thrones in Girona, Spain. There's no word yet on what Of Monsters and Men's cameo will entail, but the band's fierce name, whimsical music and penchant for fantastical music videos should make them fit right in on this series.

In fact, music and Game of Thrones kind of goes hand in hand. Several artists have had cameos on the show in the past, including fellow Icelandic trio Sigur Rós, Mastodon, Coldplay's Will Champion and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody. Ramin Djawadi's theme song for the show is now iconic. There's also not one but two Game of Thrones mixtapes featuring music from the likes of Common, Method Man and Snoop Dogg. And we all know what happens when "The Rains of Castamere" starts playing.
