It's really no surprise that Sony is making a big deal out of its new partnership with Activision. By bringing Call of Duty to PlayStation first, Sony is taking one of the biggest guns in Microsoft's arsenal out of the picture — and while it's still too early to say if the partnership will pay off or not, fans are about to get a sweet new piece of tech out of the deal.

Earlier today, Sony announced that it would be releasing a limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 4 bundle in time for launch. It's not just another underwhelming, single-color console bundle, either: the Black Ops III PS4 looks great, with a distinct gray and orange design on both the console and the DualShock 4 controller (though the bright orange analog sticks and D-Pad might be a bit much). That's not even the best part, either, as the Black Ops III PS4 will come packed with a 1 TB hard drive — the first of its kind in the U.S.

Of course, the Black Ops III console bundle will also come with the standard version of the game and a code to download the latest version of the popular "Nuketown" multiplayer map. Considering just how well the closed Black Ops III beta went earlier this year, it's safe to assume that NUK3TOWN will be getting plenty of screen time.

From Activision's GM of Call of Duty Rob Kostich:

"Last month's beta on PS4 was a phenomenal success. We want to thank the amazing PlayStation Nation for its feedback, for its participation, and for making Black Ops III the largest beta in PS4 history!

We cannot wait for you to experience Black Ops III for yourselves on November 6th, and we hope you like the Black Ops III Limited Edition PS4 as much as we do!"

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 4 bundle will retail for $449.99 and will be available alongside the game on Nov. 6.
