Marvel has promised that the upcoming season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will focus on the Inhumans. A new sneak peek at the first four minutes of this season's opening scene shows that Marvel kept its word.

This new clip by IGN shows an Inhuman who is accidentally making things explode while running from an armed team. A S.H.I.E.L.D. task force shows up and saves the man: we quickly see that the leader of this team is Daisy Johnson, formerly known as Skye, also known as Quake.

Marvel had previously revealed Quake's new costume, but this clip shows it in action, as Daisy uses her new powers to ward off the team chasing the frightened Inhuman. Actress Chloe Bennet, who portrays Quake on the series, was excited to finally wear the costume.

"It was really, really fun to put it on," said Bennet in an interview with the L.A. Times. "With the inner geek in me – and growing up with six brothers – I was never really interested in being the princess. I was more into being someone who kicked ... and was a superhero. So, that was a dream come true."

The opening scene also highlights the group hunting down the Inhumans and the Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU), as well as their mysterious boss played by actress Constance Zimmer.

Here's a snippet from the official synopsis for Season 3:

"Bigger threats loom ahead, setting the stakes even higher for the Agents, including the spread of Terrigen, an alien substance that unlocks superhuman abilities in select individuals; the emergence of new Inhumans who cannot yet control nor understand their powers; the rise of a new government organization that will go toe-to-toe with S.H.I.E.L.D.; the unknown properties of the massive alien Kree monolith, which has taken one of their own; and the constant threat of a rebuilt Hydra terrorist organization under S.H.I.E.L.D. traitor Grant Ward, who is making it his personal mission to take down Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D."

It seems that S.H.I.E.L.D. has its hands full this season, which will no doubt mean an exciting ride for fans of the show.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to ABC on September 29.
